Minor Update v1.3.7 – Additional Comments Visibility

March 19, 2024

We have listened to your feedback, and we’re excited to announce a new enhancement with the release of version 1.3.7. Our community of song leaders, drummers, and various musicians who prefer a chord-free view to better focus on the lyrics have shared a crucial insight. The previous setting, which hid chords and inadvertently obscured embedded comments, sometimes led to missed cues and vital information during song services and performances.

Therefore, starting with version 1.3.7, comments within songs will remain visible regardless of your preference to display or hide chords. This update ensures that all users, irrespective of their role or preference, have access to these important notes at all times. However, comments will still remain hidden on the presenter view.

To illustrate the importance of this update, consider the following scenario: Comments in a song might instruct musicians and the song leader to avoid escalating the song’s intensity too quickly. Such directives are pivotal for the cohesive performance of a piece, ensuring everyone is aligned with the song’s dynamics. Previously, drummers and song leaders who opted for a chord-free view might have missed these instructions. Now, with the latest update, these critical comments will remain visible, ensuring that every team member, regardless of their role, is fully informed and in sync.

We’re committed to continuously refining our platform to meet your needs and enhance your musical experience. This update is a direct response to your valuable input, and we’re focused on enhancing your Choruby experience. We welcome your feedback on this and future updates as we strive to make Choruby the most user-friendly and comprehensive tool for all your musical endeavors.
