Bible Reading & Presenting, Last Used Tracking, and More

We’re thrilled to announce a major update to Choruby — one that’s been highly requested!

📖 Bible Reading & Presenting
Choruby now includes a built-in Bible register, currently featuring the King James Version (KJV). We’re considering adding more Bible translations in the future — if there’s a version you’d love to see, let us know! Here’s what you can do:

Browse & Navigate

• Browse all 66 books from a dedicated Bible page, with separate Old Testament and New Testament filters.
• Use the Browse Books button to open a full-screen book picker — tap a book, then tap a chapter number to jump straight in. No typing required!
• Each chapter is displayed in a clean, verse-by-verse reading view with easy Previous/Next navigation.

Present Bible Verses

• Present an entire chapter with a single tap, just like you present songs today.
• Want to present a specific verse? Each verse has a small play button that starts presenting from that exact verse — no need to scroll through from verse 1.
• Bible verse references (e.g. Genesis 3:7) are shown at the bottom of the Presenter View, so your congregation always knows the reference on screen.
• The Bible Reference Font Size is fully configurable from Admin Configurations under Presenter Visual Preferences.

Add to Song Lists

• Bible chapters can be added to your presenting list or personal selected list, mixed in alongside your songs for a seamless service flow.

🕐 Last Used – Song Tracking

Ever wondered when a song was last presented right from the song register? Now you’ll know!

• A new Last Used column appears in the Song Register showing the date each song was last presented.
• This updates automatically every time a song is presented through Choruby.
• Sort by the Last Used column to quickly find songs that haven’t been sung in a while — great for keeping your rotation fresh!

🛠️ Other Improvements

• Scroll to Top: A scroll-to-top button has been added to the Bible chapter view for quicker navigation on long chapters.
• Group Joining: Fixed an issue where joining a group with a mixed-case group code could fail.
• Various bug fixes and performance improvements across the app.
